Health & Wellness Grants - Where's the Funding?

Wondering where to apply for a government grant for your health and wellness program?  Those who have had this recurring thought probably remember hearing something about this type of program as a part of health reform – or, more specifically, the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  After doing some inquiring ourselves, we have learned from Joanne Galindo, Public Health Analyst for the Office of Policy and Program Development (Bureau of Primary Health Care, Health Resources and Services Administration) that the original program mentioned in the ACA legislation has not yet received funding – meaning it is not being offered currently.

However, there are still a number of programs available to provide assistance to small business.  To see the full listing of programs, go to grants.gov or cfda.gov.  Stay tuned for future posts once we learn of funded grants for health and wellness programs.
